There is no slot that is comfortable for both. The workable pattern is an early-morning US call against a late-evening Asian one, or the reverse, alternated so the same team is not always the one staying up. Singapore, Jakarta and the rest of the region hold a fixed offset all year, so the only seasonal movement comes from the North American clock change.
