Privacy Policy
The short version: Overlap collects as little as possible, stores nothing personal, and will never sell your data.
Overlap is an independent tool operated by a solo developer. We can be reached at hello@overlaptimezone.cc for any privacy-related questions or requests.

Overlap itself sets no cookies. The app uses the URL hash fragment and localStorage to store your city selections and theme preference — this stays in your browser and is never transmitted to our servers.
Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites.
If display advertising is active, Google AdSense may set advertising cookies according to Google's privacy policy. You can opt out at myadcenter.google.com.
Cloudflare may set a cookie called __cf_bm for bot detection. This is a technical cookie (not a tracking cookie) and expires within 30 minutes. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Cloudflare Pages (hosting)
Our site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages and delivered through Cloudflare's global CDN. Cloudflare processes IP addresses and HTTP request metadata to deliver the site and protect against abuse. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
Google Fonts
We use Google Fonts to load the Outfit and Syne typefaces. This involves a request to Google's servers, which may log your IP address. See Google's Privacy Policy.
Google AdSense (if active)
If display advertising is enabled, Google AdSense serves ads under Google's Privacy Policy. You can control ad personalisation via Google's Ad Center.
Because we collect almost no personal data, most privacy rights are satisfied automatically for typical users. If you have contacted us by email, you have the right to: access any personal data we hold, request deletion, request correction, and receive your data in a portable format.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Email correspondence is retained for up to 12 months after resolution. Cloudflare server logs are purged after 7 days. Aggregated analytics data (not tied to individuals) may be retained indefinitely.
Overlap is a general-purpose productivity tool suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
We may update this policy periodically. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We will never retroactively apply data practices more invasive than those described in the policy in effect when you used the service.
